Leinster Under 10 Hurling Blitz

At

Carlow Town Hurling Club on Saturday, 29th, August, 2015.


1. This is a one-day event commencing at 10.30 am. and ending at 2pm. approx.

2. This blitz is a 11 a-side event with a panel of 14 players allowed.

3. It will be made up of 8 groups of four teams each.

4. Official party is 14 players plus 3 adults.  A meal will be provided.

5. Each game will be 15 minutes per half and a half hour for a full game

6. There will be no Semi-Finals or Finals.

7. There will be no Cup or Medals presented.

8. Blitz is limited to 32 teams of a ‘first come first served basis’.

9. Entry fee is € 100.00.

10. Closing date for completed application forms with fee is Friday , 14th August, 2015.

11. Before entering, clubs should ensure proper clearance from their County Secretary.

12. Teams will be graded to the best of our ability.  Smart touch ball will be used.

13. This is an effort by Carlow Town Hurling Club to promote the game of hurling in a non- competitive manner.

Reference above we wish to draw your attention to the following points:-                       

1.      Punctuality:-  Teams are advised that they should take the field at the appointed time.   This is imperative for the success of the blitz.
 
2.      Programme:-  Draw fixtures can be obtained on the website at www.carlowtownhurling.gaa.ie.

3.      Catering: -  Meal vouchers can be obtained when you come to the clubhouse for your meal – contact Martin Walsh.

4.      No hurling boots are allowed in the clubhouse – we request team officials to enforce this rule as refusal to admit may offend.

5.      All teams, Cars and Buses, are requested to go direct to Carlow Town Hurling Club where Parking is available.  Stewards will be on duty from 8.30am.

6.      Medical Aid:- Medical assistance will be available during the blitz – for details contact clubhouse – 059-91-40234 or Dan 087-9164098 and 087-0644579 or Martin 087-2207543.

7.      The Organising Committee reserve the right to make whatever changes they deem necessary for the proper running of the Blitz.

8.      Shuttle service to be used in all Dressings Rooms, i.e. arrive – change – take your belongings to your car or bus and leave Dressing Rooms clean as you found it.
